Master Sgt. Matthew Lamonica, Texas Agribusiness Development Team agriculture expert, works on a newly sprouted seedling demonstration program, April 6, at Forward Operating Base Ghazni. This program used the seeds of common vegetables and peat moss disks, which swell once water is added. This provides a proper environment for growth before placement in the ground.
