ARABIAN GULF (June 16, 2016) Cpl. Edwin Alexander, inspects the connection during an ordnance load onto an AV-8B Harrier II, assigned to 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU), on the flight deck of amphibious assault ship USS Boxer (LHD 4) in preparation for missions in support of Operation Inherent Resolve. Boxer is the flagship for the Boxer Amphibious Ready Group and, with the embarked 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
