A slide in Russian shows the four major kinds of parasitic worms that can be found in children during a conference in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan, on mass de-worming April 2. So far, two million individuals have been de-wormed so far in Russia, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan. In the coming year, the U.S. government and Transit Center at Manas will contribute financially to the de-worming project in order to reach the entire nation and successfully eradicate parasitic disease.
