Soldiers listen to Command Sgt. Maj. Timothy Campbell during a memorial ceremony for Medal of Honor recipient Sgt. 1st Class Paul R. Smith at Camp Liberty, Iraq, April 4. Campbell was Smith?s first sergeant for Company B, 11th Engineer Battalion, 3rd Infantry Division during the initial push into Baghdad, April 2003. The ceremony was conducted at the place where Smith was mortally wounded.
