A Bradley Fighting Vehicle with 6th Squadron, 9th U.S. Cavalry, 3rd Armored Brigade Combat Team, 1st Cavalry Division, scouts for the opposition while maneuvering to attack the command post of the 1st Battalion, 155th Infantry Regiment, 155th Armored Brigade Combat Team, Mississippi Army National Guard, during a Multi-echelon Integrated Brigade Training exercise at Fort Hood, Texas, June 13, 2016. The MiBT showcases the partnership of the MSARNG’s 155th ABCT and active components of the 3rd ABCT, 1st CAV and First Army, among others, to demonstrate the U.S. Army’s Total Force policy. The exercise is a multicomponent event that sustains readiness of reserve and active components. The 155th ABCT is benefiting from lessons learned by the 1st CAV during a 2015 National Training Center rotation and will help prepare them for their own trip to the NTC at Fort Irwin, Calif., in 2017.
