Iraqi students properly treat a simulated arm injury during the hands-on portion of the combat lifesaver class March 31. A team of medics, assigned to Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 1st Battalion, 41st Field Artillery, 1st Advise and Assist Brigade, 3rd Infantry Division, taught the five-day course to 15 Iraqi army soldiers. In order to pass the hands-on portion the Iraqi soldiers had to react and evaluate, evacuate, and transport the casualty.
