The George C. Marshall European Center in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Germany celebrated the U.S. Army's 241st Birthday will a ceremonial cutting of the cake. The youngest and oldest soldier present shared the honors of cutting the cake. The youngest Soldier was Army Specialist Christopher Green from Brooklyn, New York, who was born in 1992. The oldest serving Soldier was Lt. Col. Robert Peters from Lynchburg, Va. who was born in 1966.
