SASEBO, Japan (June 10, 2016) Rear Adm. Brian Hurley, center right, deputy commander, U.S. 7th Fleet, meets with foreign naval leaders aboard the Indian Navy Shivalik-class stealth frigate INS Satpura (F48) during Malabar 2016. A trilateral maritime exercise, Malabar is designed to enhance dynamic cooperation between the Indian navy, Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force (JMSDF) and U.S. Navy forces in the Indo-Asia-Pacific.
