Benjamin Allbritton, executive officer of the amphibious assault ship USS Boxer (LHD 4), speaks with a group of 20 midshipmen in the wardroom as part of the 2016 Midshipman Training Program. Midshipmen from the U.S. Naval Academy and the Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps (NROTC) are aboard Boxer for a summer training cruise to learn more about the Navy and their future careers. Boxer is the flagship for the Boxer Amphibious Ready Group and, with the embarked 13th MEU, is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
