A soldier from the Moldovan National Army works side by side with an Airman from the the Kentucky Air National Guard’s 123rd Civil Engineer Squadron to clear away brush behind Special School #12 in Chisinau, Moldova, June 8, 2016. More than 35 Airmen from the Kentucky unit are renovating the institution, which is the only school in Moldova specifically for deaf and special-needs students. The humanitarian project is a partnership with the Office of Defense Cooperation and U.S. European Command, with funds being provided by the National Guard Bureau.
