The final pallet of the day is loaded into the cargo bay of an Alaska Air National Guard C-17 Globemaster cargo plane on the Kodiak Airport flightline June 8, 2016. The Alaska Air National Guard’s 249th Airlift Squadron is assisting Air Station Kodiak in transferring supplies and vehicles to Kotzebue, Alaska, before the opening of the seasonal forward operating location this summer in support of Arctic Shield 2016.
