A Marine shows Dariela Rodriguez how to operate a flight simulator during the 2016 Key Leaders and Educators Workshop at Marine Helicopter Squadron One aboard Marine Corps Base Quantico, Va., June 8. Thirty-nine educators from states east of the Mississippi River were briefed on flight operations, flew in a MV-22 Osprey and toured the squadron’s hangar during the aviation portion of their visit. Educators and the Corps build a mutually beneficial relationship through workshops where educators can better guide students interested in becoming Marine officers. Rodriguez is an assistant professor for Ashland University, Ashland, Oh.
