Following a ruck march, Soldiers competing in the 4th Military Information Support Group Noncommissioned Officer and Soldier of the Year competition were provided with three rounds to zero their M4 carbines and allowed 90 seconds to complete a rifle marksmanship qualification, April 22, 2016. Over the course of two weeks, competitors were evaluated on their physical stamina, writing skills, basic military knowledge, mastery of combatives techniques, execution of tactical tasks, appearance, and military bearing during the annual competition.
