Case Cunningham, 432nd Wg/432nd AEW commander, also assisted in the build as part of Ditore’s shadow an Airman initiative, a program implemented as an avenue for Ditore and Cunningham to meet their Airmen and boost morale within the wing. Although building and transporting explosives is a big part of operations, the munitions flight crew also serves as a weapons and tactics liaison for the base, and is responsible for over 70,000 pounds of explosive weight used to support MQ-1 and MQ-9 missions.
