WAHIAWA, Hawaii – During a Materiel Readiness Award Ceremony, here, more than 70 Soldiers and civilians receive awards and/or brigade coins for their contributions during the Stryker turn-in process on June 1, 2016. Brigadier Gen. Patrick Matlock, 25th Infantry Division’s Deputy Commanding General-Support joined Col. David Womack, Command Sgt. Maj. T.J. Holland, the command team for 2nd Inf. Bde. Combat Team, and the rest of the Warrior Brigade Battalion’s Command Teams, as they praised the Soldiers for their hard-work and dedication during the transition process.
“To the Soldier of the Warrior Brigade, thank you for your selfless service and dedicated support. We have miles to march and I recognize that we are busy but I appreciate everything you all do,” said Col. Womack. “I would also like to give a special thanks to the noncommissioned officers standing in our ranks for setting the example each and every day.”
