U.S. Marine Corps 1st Lt. Colin D. Smith, left, an intelligence officer with Black Sea Rotational Force, and 2nd Lt. Lucas M. Loury, a ground support officer with BSRF, take care of their feet after completing a 30 and 50 kilometer race in Bran, Romania, May 21, 2016. Runners with BSRF had the option of running the new 30K race that had an elevation gain of 2,370 meters or the 50K race with an elevation gain of 3,266 meters and labeled as a difficult ultra-marathon. A total of thirty-seven Marines and sailors participated in this Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) event to challenge themselves physically, mentally and to build esprit de corps.
