U.S. Marines and sailors with Black Sea Rotational Force participate in the Transylvania 30K and 50K, running the ultra through the mountains of Transylvania, starting and ending at Dracula's Castle in Bran, Romania, May 21, 2016. Runners with BSRF had the option of running the new 30K race that had an elevation gain of 2,370 meters or the 50K race with an elevation gain of 3,266 meters and labeled as a difficult ultra-marathon. A total of thirty-seven Marines and sailors participated in this Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) trip to challenge themselves physically, mentally and to build esprit de corps.
