Service members from the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force and the Cambodian Armed Forces participate in a basketball tournament during Khaan Quest 2016 cultural night at Five Hills Training Area, Mongolia, May 31, 2016. Khaan Quest cultural nights are hosted throughout the exercise and foster togetherness among the participating countries through the sharing of traditions and customs. Khaan Quest 2016 is an annual, multinational peacekeeping operations exercise hosted by the Mongolian Armed Forces, co-sponsored by U.S. Pacific Command, and supported by U.S. Army Pacific and U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Pacific. Khaan Quest, in its 14th iteration, is the capstone exercise for this year’s Global Peace Operations Initiative program.
