PACIFIC OCEAN (May 24, 2016) - Amphibious transport dock ship USS San Diego (LPD 22) Commanding Officer, Capt. Carl W. Meuser, passes some of his knowledge to a group of Midshipmen as part of the Career Orientation and Training for Midshipmen (CORTRAMID) program. San Diego is currently underway off the coast of Southern California participating in a series of qualifications and certifications as part of the basic phase of training in preparation for future operations and deployments.
