Rear Adm. Henry Blain, commandante de la Fuerza Naval del Caribe, Colombia navy, shakes hands with Rear Adm. Jonathan White, commander, Naval Meteorology and Oceanography Command, U.S. Navy on board the USNS Henson in the Bay of Cartagena, Colombia. The two were on the Henson to review the work being done by Oceanographic Southern Partnership Station 2010 particiapnts over the past week. The presentations were followed by a reception on Henson's fantail. O-SPS 10 is a joint project being conducted to demonstrate current technologies and capabilities of the U.S. Navy, to share information on conducting military oceanographic surveys in various environments between members of the Centro De Investigaciones Oceanograficas e Hidrograficas staff and the crew of the Henson and to strengthen ties between each country's military.
