2nd Cavalry Regiment Soldiers began the next leg of their tactical road march in Stryker Combat Vehicles from Rose Barracks, Germany and stopped just before the Polish country border to refuel their vehicles and check their tie-downs, May 30, as part of Exercise Dragoon Ride. On their journey approximately 1,400 Soldiers, in 400 vehicles, will be covering more than 2,200 kilometers, through six countries. Dragoon Ride is a coordinated multinational movement validating U.S. and U.S. partnering allies’ freedom of movement and rapid assembly capabilities. (U.S. Army photo by Sgt. Caitlyn Byrne)
