Spc. Charles Simon McCentee (right), along with members of Company A, 2nd Battalion, 1st Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division, set up an entry control point during Exercise Maple Resolve 16 at CFB Wainwright, Alberta, May 27. During the exercise, U.S. Army Soldiers from active-duty, Reserve and National Guard components help to train Canadian soldiers, while improving interoperability and fostering partnership. Maple Resolve 2016 offers opportunities for U.S., Canadian and British soldiers to learn from each other, become familiar with each other’s equipment, and communicate with each other during a realistic exercise maneuver exercise.
