160525-N-WE887-027 BROOKLYN (May 26, 2016) - Navy Seaman Cody Woodyatt of Sterling Illinois and stationed onboard USS Farragut (DDG 99), works alongside Ltjg Marcus Terrell of Greensboro, Alabama who is also stationed onboard Farragut, to remove carpet from a local home that was damaged by Hurricane Sandy during a Habitat for Humanity restoration project as a part of 2016 Fleet Week New York (FWNY), May 27. FWNY, now in its 28th year, is the city's time-honored celebration of the sea services. It is an unparalleled opportunity for the citizens of New York and the surrounding tri-state area to meet Sailors, Marines and Coast Guardsmen, as well as witness firsthand the latest capabilities of today's maritime services.
