WATERS SURROUNDING THE KOREAN PENINSULA (May 22, 2016) – An MH-60R Seahawk, attached to the “Warbirds” of Helicopter Maritime Strike Squadron (HSM) 49, rests on the flight deck of the Republic of Korea destroyer ROKS Yulgok Yi (DDG-992). The guided-missile destroyers USS Momsen (DDG 92), USS Decatur (DDG 73) and USS Spruance (DDG 111), with embarked “Devil Fish” and “Warbirds” detachments of HSM-49, are deployed as part of a U.S. 3rd Fleet Pacific Surface Action Group (PAC SAG) under Destroyer Squadron (CDS) 31.
