MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. – The commandant of the Marine Corps, Gen. Robert Neller, speaks with Marines from 1st Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment at Camp Pendleton May 24, 2016. The primary focus of this visit was to update the Marines on what’s going on around the Corps and to answer any questions they had. “It really shows a lot when someone with that high of a rank comes out,” said Lance Cpl. Robert Westbrook, a rifleman with Company C, 1st Bn., 4th Marines and a native of Phoenix. “He actually took time to come out here, see us train and talk to us and answer any questions that we had.” The Marines of the battalion are set to deploy with the 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit this fall.
