BAUMHOLDER, Germany -- Sgt. Vanessa Carrillo, the "2016 Best NCO Warrior," carries water for the 16th Sustainment Brigade during a "stress shoot" conducted May 23 as part of the 21st Theater Sustainment Command Best Warrior Competition held at Smith Barracks. The Fontana, California, native, who serves with the Knight Brigade's 515th Transportation Company, 39th Transportation Battalion, triumphed over four other noncommissioned officers from across the command. Carrillo and candidates across the region will compete for top honors during the European Best Warrior Competition slated for Aug. 7-11 in Grafenwoehr. (U.S. Army Photo by Staff Sgt.
