MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII – U.S. Navy personnel and delegates from the Socialist Republic of Vietnam pose for a group picture, aboard Marine Corps Base Hawaii, April 13, 2016. Delegates from the S.R.V. visited MCB Hawaii as part of a three-day bilateral naval talk with U.S. Forces. The delegates also met with Marine Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Squadron 3, also known as the “Phantoms,” and Navy Patrol Squadron 47, “The Golden Swordsmen.” VMU-3 showcased the capabilities of a RQ-7 Shadow, an unmanned aerial system. VP-47 gave a tour of the inside of a P-3C Orion aircraft and briefed the delegates on the aircraft’s capabilities as a recon and anti-submarine aircraft. (U.S. Marine Corps Photo by Lance Cpl.
