MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII – Lt. Cmdr. Jeremy Lyon, the operations officer for Navy Patrol Squadron 47, “The Golden Swordsmen,” and a Hesperia, Calif., native, exchanges tokens of appreciation with Socialist Republic of Vietnam delegates, aboard Marine Corps Base Hawaii, April 13, 2016. Delegates from the S.R.V. visited MCB Hawaii as part of a three-day bilateral naval talk with U.S. Forces. The delegates also met with Marine Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Squadron 3 also known as the “Phantoms” and VP-47, “The Golden Swordsmen.” VMU-3 showcased the capabilities of a RQ-7 Shadow, an unmanned aerial system.
