MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII – Rear Adm. Do Minh Thai, deputy chief of staff for the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, and Lt. Col. Brynn Schreiner, the commanding officer of Marine Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Squadron 3, exchange tokens of appreciation during a visit, at Marine Corps Air Station Kaneohe Bay, aboard Marine Corps Base Hawaii, April 13, 2016. Delegates from the S.R.V. visited MCB Hawaii as part of a three-day bilateral naval talk with U.S. Forces. The delegates also met with VMU-3 also known as the “Phantoms” and Navy Patrol Squadron 47, “The Golden Swordsmen.” VMU-3 showcased the capabilities of a RQ-7 Shadow, an unmanned aerial system. VP-47 gave a tour of the inside of a P-3C Orion aircraft and briefed the delegates on the aircraft’s capabilities as a recon and anti-submarine aircraft. (U.S. Marine Corps Photo by Lance Cpl.
