MARINE CORPS BASE HAWAII – Delegates from the Socialist Republic of Vietnam have lunch at the Officers’ Club, aboard Marine Corps Base Hawaii, April 13, 2016. The delegates visited MCB Hawaii as part of a three-day bilateral naval talk with U.S. Forces. The delegates also met with Marine Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Squadron 3 also known as the “Phantoms” and Navy Patrol Squadron 47 “The Golden Swordsmen.” VMU-3 showcased the capabilities of an RQ-7 Shadow, an unmanned aerial system. VP-47 gave a tour of the inside of a P-3C Orion aircraft and briefed the delegates on the aircraft’s capabilities as a recon and anti-submarine aircraft. (U.S. Marine Corps Photo by Lance Cpl.
