A pair of marine-uniform boots wrapped in dog tags sit on display on the small stage used for opening-ceremony singers during the Seattle Sounders Military Appreciation Night game at Century Link Field in Seattle, May 21, 2016.
The boots belong to Sounders military liaison Jason Selby, who worn them while serving for over 23 years in the Marines before retiring as a master sergeant April 2015.
