Engineers shoot Gunnery Table XII to prepare for Exercise Anakonda 16

Soldiers from the 10th Engineer Battalion, 1st Armored Brigade Combat Team, 3rd Infantry Division prepare a Mine Clearing Line Charge prior to their Gunnery Table XII at Grafenwoehr Training Area, Germany May 19. A MICLIC is a rocket-propelled explosive line charge used to breach obstacles and minefields with more than 1,700 lbs. of C-4 explosives. Qualifying on the gunnery table certifies the platoon and prepares them for Exercise Anakonda 16 to be held in Poland June 7-17. Anakonda is a Polish-led exercise that will include over 25,000 participants from 24 nations, supporting assurance and deterrence measures by demonstrating allied defense capabilities to deploy, mass and sustain combat power.
