PO2Bryan Escueta briefs U.S. Soldiers with the Alaska Army National Guard on proper health maintenance procedures upon their arrival at Five Hills Training Area, Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia to prepare them for participation in Exercise Khaan Quest 2016, May 19. This year’s Khaan Quest, which is a regularly-scheduled, multinational peacekeeping exercise co-sponsored by U.S. Pacific Command and hosted annually by the Mongolian Armed Forces, is serving as the capstone exercise for the Global Peace Operations Initiative program. Khaan Quest 2016 marks the 14th year the Mongolian Armed Forces have hosted this exercise.
Escueta, a San Diego, California, native, is a corpsman with 3rd Medical Battalion, 3rd Marine Logistics Group, III Marine Expeditionary Force.
