    Joint Base Charleston S.C., Airmen assist each other in hydrating while wearing their mission oriented protective posture gear in response to simulated explosions while being evaluated on their ability to survive and operate in the event of chemical, biological, radiological or nuclear explosives (CBRNE) attack on a training range at Joint Base Charleston, S.C., as part of exercise Crescent Reach 16, May 19, 2016. The exercise tests and evaluates Joint Base Charleston's ability to launch a large aircraft formation in addition to processing and deploying duty passengers and cargo in response to a simulated crisis abroad.
