Marine Cpl. Jordan Thomas (top), a motor transport mechanic with 1st Battalion, 7th Marines, and Spc. Trevor Lee, a wheeled-vehicle mechanic with the 24th Composite Supply Company, work together on repairing a forklift. At their forward logistics element in Iraq, the servicemembers from both branches routinely work in an integrated manner, which has allowed them to draw on each other’s expertise to repair and maintain over 100 vehicles and pieces of heavy equipment.
