Specialist Ted Jonza, native of New Windsor, NY, and cavalry scout 3rd Combined Arms Battalion, 69th Armor Regiment introducing a Polish citizen to a 50-caliber weapon as part of the celebration of Drawsko Pomorskie Training Area Day, May 13. The award ceremony and nearby static display are in honor of DPTA Day, a day to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the establishment of DPTA in Poland. U.S. participation in the celebration is part of Army Europe-led Operation Atlantic Resolve land force assurance training taking place across Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland to enhance multinational interoperability, strengthen relationships among allied militaries, contribute to regional stability and demonstrate U.S. commitment to NATO.
