BANGOR, Wash. (May 09, 2016) – Machinist's Mate (Weapons) 3rd Class Sean Lachance, from Crossville, Tennessee, assigned to the Ohio-class ballistic-missile submarine USS Louisiana (SSBN 743) receives hands-on training inside the Weapons Launch Control Team Trainer at Trident Training Facility at Naval Base Kitsap-Bangor. The mission of Trident Training Facility is to train officer and enlisted personnel in the knowledge and skills required to build competence and proficiency in operating and maintaining submarine systems, sub-systems, and equipment.
