The Lucas Oil Aerobatics S1-11B team performs nail-biting performance at the 2016 MCAS Cherry Point Air Show – “Celebrating 75 Years” at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C., April 30, 2016.
Michael Wiskus pilots the S1-11B “Pitts Special” is powered by 310 horsepower performed various solo aerobatics routines. This year’s air show celebrated MCAS Cherry Point and 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing’s 75th anniversaries and featured 40 static displays, 17 aerial performers and a concert.
