Children from the village of Montaña La Oki, located 4,406 feet above sea level in the mountains east of Comayagua, Honduras, perform a cultural dance as a way of showing their appreciation to the 158 military and civilian members of Joint Task Force-Bravo and volunteer firefighters from the local area who hiked 7.4 miles roundtrip to deliver 3,000 pounds of food to 172 families in the village during Chapel Hike 67, April 30, 2016. Chapel hikes have been occurring since 2003, with the JTF-Bravo Chapel sponsoring an average of six every year. The hikes are designed to provide a practical way for JTF-Bravo members to engage and partner with local communities to provide support to surrounding villages in need of food and supplies.
