Army Pfc. Harlan Troutman, with the Tennessee Army National Guard’s H Troop, 2nd Squadron, 278th Armored Cavalry Regiment, guides the road wheel from an M1 Abrams tank through a pre-determined course during the Gen. Gordon Sullivan Cup best tank crew competition at Fort Benning, Ga., Sunday, May 1, 2016. Competitors were required to move the wheel over a specific route in the shorter time possible. The Sullivan Cup tests tanks crews from throughout the Army on everything from gunnery to mounted land navigation, maintenance and combat casualty care in a variety of physically and mentally challenges setting to determine the Army’s best tank crew.
