160413-N-GZ228-011 GULF OF ADEN (April 13, 2016) A landing signal enlisted signals the pilot of an MH-60S Knight Hawk, assigned to the “Wild Cards” of Helicopter Sea Combat (HSC) Squadron 23, on the flight deck of amphibious assault ship USS Boxer (LHD 4). Boxer is the flagship for the Boxer Amphibious Ready Group and, with the embarked 13th MEU, is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
