An F-22 Raptor rumbles the ground and amazes air show patrons at Marine Corps Air Station Cherry Point, N.C., April 4, during the 2016 MCAS Cherry Point Air Show "Celebrating 75 Years." The Air Force's F-22 Raptor combines sensor capabilities with integrated avionics, situational awareness and weapons to provide the first-kill opportunity against threats by performing air-to-air and air-to-ground missions. This year's air show celebrated MCAS Cherry Point and 2nd Marine Aircraft Wing's 75th anniversary and featured 40 static displays, 17 aerial performers, as well as a concert.
