Staff Sgt. Kenwith Scott (left), a squad leader from Rosedale, Miss., and Capt. Drew Clark, a company commander from Madison, Miss., coordinate with Ibrahim Hawaas Madlul (wearing red and white kafiya), the village leader of Jedallah Anuk, to deliver humanitarian care packages during a perimeter patrol, Feb. 1. The Mississippi Guardsmen serve with A Company, 2nd Battalion, 198th Combined Arms, 155th Brigade Combat Team, out of Hernando, Miss., the Q-West force protection company. The Mississippians delivered the packages in behalf of the city of Barrington, R.I. Since 2003, Barrington has been sending clothing, school supplies and other items to Jedallah Anuk in an Adopt-a-Village program initiated by the 101st Airborne Division.
