Capt. Pete Galluch, commanding officer, Aegis Training and Readiness Center, and Rear Adm. P. Gardner Howe III, president, U.S. Naval War College (NWC), participate in the Integrated Air and Missile Defense (IAMD) Summit at NWC in Newport, Rhode Island. The two-day event was hosted by NWC's Gravely Naval Warfare Research Group and served as an opportunity to assess emerging IAMD missions and address development of tactics, techniques and procedures that will be employed by maritime component forces in joint and multi-national operations. Additionally, the summit directly offered operating forces an opportunity to improve combat readiness and shape the future IAMD force.
