SINGAPORE (Apr. 20, 2016) – Rear Admiral Charlie Williams, Commander, Task Force 73 (front row, third from left), hosted Vice Admiral Nora Tyson (front row, fourth from left), Commander, U.S. 3rd Fleet, during a small gathering of friends and former employees at Navy Region Center Singapore’s Terror Club, Apr. 20, 2016. Vice Adm. Tyson commanded Task Force 73 (CTF 73) from 2007-2010. During the event, she briefly reminisced on her time in Singapore and shared her gratitude towards her former team.
“This is an incredible place and you are all incredible people,” Vice Adm. Tyson said. “It’s you guys that make this place what it is and I just want to say thank you for your friendship and for what you guys have done.”
For Vice Adm. Tyson, this was the first time she visited Singapore since 2010 and her visit sparked fond memories among NRCS staff.
