DONA ANNA RANGE, NEW MEXICO– Air Force Master Sgt. Ernest Willich pulls a “dead Ranger” up a sandy hill as part of a corrective training exercise during Pre-Ranger training April 21. The candidates, who had failed to follow instructions, were conducting training on the importance of team work and prioritizing tasks. The Pre-Ranger course is conducted by the Air Force twice a year here, and is a requirement for all Air Force personnel wishing to attend Army Ranger School.
