FORT BLISS, TEXAS – Air Force Capt. Ralph Johnson counts pull-ups April 19 during the Ranger Physical Fitness Test. Johnson, who graduated from Ranger School in 2010, is the officer in charge of Air Force Ranger Assessment Course 16-01, which takes place through May 3. The course, which mirrors the first two-weeks of Ranger School, is designed to determine which Airmen will be given a slot to attend the Army Ranger Course. The Air Force has ten slots a year for Ranger School.
