    Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron-1

    U.S. Marine Corps Capt. Brandon L. Pope, an MV-22B Osprey pilot with Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron One (MAWTS-1) transports Marines to Twentynine Palms, Calif., during Assault Support Tactics 3 on April 15, 2016 . This evolution was part of Weapons and Tactics Instructor (WTI) course 2-16, a seven week training event hosted MAWTS-1 cadre. MAWTS-1 provides standardized advanced tactical training and certification of unit instructor qualifications to support Marine Aviation Training and Readiness and assists in developing and employing aviation weapons and tactics.
