AQABA, Jordan (April 8, 2016) – Engineman 2nd Class Darren Hirose, left, and Electricians Mate 2nd Class Brian Nieder, both from Coastal Riverine Squadron 2 out of Little Creek, Va., work on a 34-foot patrol boat on Camp Badger during International Mine Counter Measures Exercise (IMCMEX) 16. IMCMEX 16 is a multilateral exercise using all aspects of defensive maritime warfare including mine countermeasures, maritime security operations and maritime infrastructure protection to demonstrate the global resolve to maintain commerce throughout the U.S. 5th Fleet area of operations.
