NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (April 1, 2016) -- Pre-Commissioning Unit Gerald R. Ford's (CVN78) Commanding Officer Capt. John F. Meier and Command Master Chief Donnie Novak award Yeoman 1st Class Letisha Hill with a plaque honoring her as Sailor Officer of the Quarter during a Sailor of the Quarter luncheon. Sailors of the Quarter are nominated and screened in a competitive process among peers in their respective pay grades throughout the command, each being evaluated on the content of their character and the quality of their work.
